Steve Embree has joined Geberit North America as the new Central Region Manager/National Builder Accounts. Based out of the Des Plaines, Illinois office, Embree will oversee client accounts, product training and business development initiatives within the central U.S. region. He will also be responsible for developing Geberit’s relationship with regional and national builders. With the housing sector showing more improvement than in a decade, Geberit in-wall systems will be an advantage for builders to offer their clients.
“Steve joins us with over 25 years of experience in plumbing sales and marketing and will quickly become a key member of the Geberit team,” says Patrick Kimener, Senior Vice President of Sales for Geberit North America. “His experience with distributors, showrooms and builders in the Central region will aid in building strong relationships that will help expand the Geberit brand in the region.”
Most recently, Embree was the Director of Channel Marketing at Elkay Manufacturing in Oak Brook, Illinois and their North Central and Central Region Sales Manager. Steve is an industry veteran with a tremendous background, having worked for plumbing related companies such as Kindred Industries, Kohler and Owens Corning.
Embree has an MBA degree from Benedictine University and a Bachelors’ from Bowling Green State University.
