McWane Plumbing Group (a McWane, Inc. Company) is proud to announce the opening of a new distribution warehouse facility in South Plainfield, NJ. This new warehouse distribution facility will allow McWane Plumbing Group to better serve east coast customers by providing shorter shipping times as well as increasing inventory and product availability for customers.

The facility has approximately 65,000 square-feet of indoor warehouse storage which will increase efficiency in stocking and distributing products. There are also 6-acres of outdoor storage. The facility will operate from 6:00am to 4:30pm (EST) Monday through Friday and will be managed by New Jersey native Jerry Kosloski, a 25-year shipping and logistics professional. Pre-Arranged Pick-ups are available as early as 4am. The new Distribution Warehouse stocks multiple brands including; Tyler Pipe & Coupling, Wade Drains, Anaco-Husky and AB&I Foundry plumbing products.

Nov. 7, 2016 – To build on its successful partnerships with wholesale distributors, BrassCraft Manufacturing Company announced that it has hired Brian Spicer as VP of Wholesale Sales. Spicer, who brings more than 18 years of plumbing industry sales and marketing experience, will be responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio of brands through plumbing wholesalers.

“Wholesale distribution always has been and will continue to be an important aspect of our company, but we are also focused on building stronger relationships with contractors,” Said Rick Mejia, president. “We are excited because Brian’s experience working with both wholesalers and contractors will allow us to find ways to build our collective businesses.”

Viega announced that production of Viega MegaPress® and MegaPressG carbon steel press fittings began at its manufacturing facility in McPherson, Kan.

Viega broke ground for the 80,000-square-foot manufacturing addition to its McPherson campus in November of 2014. The first Viega MegaPress forming cell is now producing the first of Viega’s metal products in the United States. The new Viega metals manufacturing facility cold forms 1/2- to 2-inch press by press and straight elbow MegaPress and MegaPressG fittings.

“MegaPress use continues to grow in the U.S. market and by manufacturing it here, we can more effectively and efficiently deliver MegaPress product solutions to our distributors and customers across the country,” said Dave Garlow, president and CEO of Viega LLC. “These fittings are the first Viega metals products to be made right here in the United States.”
