Leading with Water Tour: A Mobile Experience

Recently, Mechanical Hub’s John Mesenbrink met up with friends from Uponor on the company’s Leading with Water Tour, which was held at Porter Pipe & Supply in Addison, Ill. The Leading with Water Tour has spanned the entire United States with dozens of stops so far, and many more to come. Check with your local Uponor sales rep for upcoming dates.

The tour features a fairly large trailer—with bump outs—that opens up into a mobile showroom where you can see for yourself new Uponor product and service offerings that are redefining potable water solutions for commercial buildings. Experience hands-on demonstrations, such as PEX expansion, and learn how the complete Uponor product solution supports sustainability goals. You can connect with industry peers and your local Uponor experts to unlock the full potential of your next project.

Some of the things Mechanical Hub saw up close was the PEX expansion capabilities using a Milwaukee Tool M18 PEX expander tool, domestic water solutions that are engineered for commercial water systems, which features Uponor AquaPEX PEX-a pipe and Uponor ChlorFit Schedule 80 Corzan CPVC, kitting services, and transition fittings.

While onsite at Porter Pipe & Supply, Mechanical Hub was treated to a quick tour of the will call area at Porter, which features a showroom for inventory and pick up. This meticulous space featured smiling faces, on-the-shelf products, a training area, drinks and snacks, even a full-sized fish tank—everything you need to get any job done.
