American Standard Water Heaters Introduces Light Duty Electric Commercial Line

Capacities range from 6 to 80 gallons for a full-spectrum solution

American Standard Water Heaters introduces its new Light Duty Electric Commercial Water Heater Line, which includes compact point-of-use and larger capacity units. The new line completes a strategic expansion that will provide customers with a full-spectrum solution for light commercial applications.

With capacities from 6 to 80 gallons and a range of voltage options and power inputs, the new line is engineered to deliver flexible, efficient performance for a wide range of usage scenarios.

“Customers want us to be a full-line provider of residential and commercial water heating products,” said President and CEO of Ariston USA, Andrea Monti Guarnieri. “So, over the last two years, our global product development teams have been working aggressively to act on the market feedback we have received. The latest introduction of this much-needed Light Duty (LD) and Point-of-Use (POU) electric water heater line moves us much closer to being just that.”

The new POU line delivers versatility, energy efficiency, and performance in a small footprint. Designed to fit under counters, in closets, or tight mechanical spaces, these units offer powerful performance without sacrificing valuable square footage.

Compact electric units in the new line include capacities of 6, 10, 15 and 20 gallons.

Key features of the compact units include:

  • Field convertible to meet different requirements: Easily adaptable to various voltage and power inputs for simplified installation and stocking.
  • Fully automatic surface mounted thermostat: Accurate temperature control with built-in manual reset for overheat protection.
  • Immersed heating element: Screw-in INCOLOY element with low-watt density for better extended service life.
  • Top & side water connections: Enhances installation flexibility across a variety of spaces.
  • Voltage options: Compatible with 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V single-phase.
  • Power range: Offers configurations from 2.0kW to 6.0kW.

A larger capacity unit is available in 80 gallons and is manufactured for applications requiring more stored hot water without a full commercial setup, such as schools, gyms, small hotels, or multifamily housing.

Key features include:

  • Electric junction box and terminal block: Streamlines installation with straightforward wiring and conversion from sim to non-sim operation.
  • Flexible power configuration: Supports both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Dual INCOLOY heating elements: Screw-in INCOLOY element with low-watt density for better extended service life.
  • Multi-voltage compatibility: Available in 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V.
