As seen at the Builder’s Show in Vegas, the Avoir uses 4 AA batteries to power the toilet for one year.

- Optional remote single-button actuator with light can be placed anywhere in the bathroom
— A back-up actuator located on the toilet includes an emergency buttons in the event of battery failure
