The American Supply Association Education Foundation (ASAEF) announced the hiring of Amber Auge as Education Programs and Services administrator. In her role, Auge’s primary responsibility will involve the administration of ASA University, including the organization and growth of the resources of ASA University’s Colleges and the new Master of Distribution Management certification program.
Prior to joining ASAEF, Auge served as a professor of Professional Development at Computer Systems Institute (CSI) in Chicago. CSI is a post-secondary education provider committed to quality, career-centered training. At CSI, Auge assisted students in developing the skills needed to not only succeed, but thrive in their career-specific programs. She created and taught separate curricula for a variety of the Institute’s programs. Prior to CSI, Auge spent five years in special education and also served in AmeriCorps NCCC, a federal agency that helps more than 5 million Americans improve the lives of their fellow citizens through service. Amy Black, executive director of the ASA Education Foundation, said “Auge’s wide variety of experience gives the ASAEF a fresh perspective. In addition, her skills will be essential in assisting the Foundation in the success of programs such as our new Master of Distribution Management certification program. Her addition to our staff will greatly benefit all of the ASA membership.”
