A. O. Smith, a leader in water heating and water treatment solutions, announces the extension of the Adapt™ Gas Tankless Water Heater family with the addition of the Adapt™ SC Standard Condensing Gas Tankless Water Heater and the Adapt™ NC Non-Condensing Gas Tankless Water Heater. By rounding out the product suite, A. O. Smith will offer customers multiple high efficiency gas tankless water heating solutions for different applications.

Adapt SC Tankless Water Heater

The Adapt SC Tankless Water Heater is the perfect fit for contractors looking for a high efficiency solution for their everyday customers. Available in 160k, 180k and 199k BTU/Hr models, the Adapt SC models are ENERGY STAR®-certified and feature a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 0.95. The Adapt SC water heater is designed for universal installation, either indoor or outdoor with an optional outdoor vent cap kit. Meanwhile, a four-button display makes adjusting the unit simple and easy.

Adapt NC Tankless Water Heater

The Adapt NC Tankless Water Heater will launch later this year and will initially be available in an indoor model, with an outdoor model to follow. The builder-grade Adapt NC series will be available in 180k and 199k BTU/Hr to, making it flexible to fit various installation needs, from replacements to new construction. The Adapt NC series will also come with the ability to link multiple units together using a single cascade cable.

NIBCO INC. announces new Webstone G-Series products with interchangeable end connections and accessories to customize installation.

Products include two new end connections and a new air separator body. The PP-RCT G-Union fittings are available in sizes ½” through 2″ and are compatible with PP-R and PP-RCT piping systems. The new FTG G-Union fittings feature a type K copper tailpiece and are available in ½” through 2”, including reducing sizes. The horizontal mount air separator is now available with G-Thread ends, which are compatible with a wide assortment of G-Series fittings and accessories for a custom installation. All products are suitable for plumbing and heating applications.

Industry-leading Efficiency and Durability

The Conquest 400-1200 series features two compact, condensing, semi-instantaneous, firetube water heaters that offer superior ROI with warranties 3-5 times longer than those offered by competitors. They feature up to 98% thermal efficiency, seamless modulation for improved performance under low loads, and low NOx emissions of <20 ppm.

The tank and heat exchanger are crafted from PVI’s proprietary AquaPLEX® duplex stainless steel alloy, providing resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and eliminating the need for tank linings or anode rods. Additionally, the series is backed by a 15-year corrosion warranty on the tank and heat exchanger.

Equipped with an advanced electronic operating control, the Conquest series features a plain-text user interface that displays heater status, modulation rate, operating parameters, and fault information. The control also integrates with building automation systems (BAS) through Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP protocols. The Conquest is Department of Energy (DOE), Intertek/ETL, and ANSI certified, Energy Star-qualified, ASHRAE 90.1 compliant, and eligible for LEED certification.
