For both new installation and repair work, professional plumbers and DIY homeowners alike rely on durable and safe fittings, connectors and valves. Since 1946, BrassCraft Manufacturing has been the professional’s choice, becoming a trusted partner in providing a full range of water, gas, faucet and toilet supplies, tubing and more.
BrassCraft Corp Offices in Novi, MINow serving the fourth generation of plumbers with dependable products, BrassCraft Manufacturing has set the standard in quality and ingenuity for the industry. With products designed, machined and assembled in the U.S., BrassCraft Manufacturing remains committed to the ideals of its founder, Robert Zell, with an acute focus on product innovation, efficiency, safety and supporting the business growth of professional plumbers.

“From the wall to the fixture or appliance, our products hook up more water and gas connections than any other brand in the industry,” said Joe Gross, president of BrassCraft Manufacturing. “Ensuring the safety and reliability of these critical connections is a top priority for our customers, and we take that responsibility very seriously. Both professionals and DIY homeowners know they can trust BrassCraft® products to do the job right, every time.”

The pioneer behind the first flexible, one-piece supply line for plumbing connections, BrassCraft Manufacturing revolutionized the plumbing industry 68 years ago, saving professional and DIY plumbers time, material and money by eliminating the cumbersome, time-consuming connections previously required with rigid brass or iron pipe. That legacy of innovation continued with the launch of the one-piece water stop and other design and manufacturing innovations that have set the production standard for the industry.

Today, BrassCraft Manufacturing continues to excel in developing world-class, dependable products like its Speedi Plumb PLUS® polymer braided connectors, along with the Safety+PLUS® excess flow valves and ProCoat® corrosion-resistant gas connectors, which recently won First Place in the 2014 Innovation Awards by Home Improvement Executive. The company has also been at the forefront of the industry in meeting the new no-lead laws with a full range of high-quality compliant products, helping customers to meet government mandates as quickly and efficiently as possible.

“We’ve designed our products to provide the fast, reliable and safe connections professionals demand to help ensure customer satisfaction and reduce call-back repairs,” Gross said. “At the same time, our products give homeowners the ability to buy what the pros buy to make every DIY project a success.”

In addition to providing customers with quality, reliable products, BrassCraft Manufacturing is also committed to investing in the future of the plumbing industry and supporting the next generation of skilled tradesmen and women. The company will award at least 100 $1,500 scholarships this year alone to help plumbing apprentices enrolled in accredited training programs complete their schooling to become journeyman plumbers.

PIA Award for Undermount Bowls

Bradley Corp., the industry leader in designing exceptional hand washing solutions, has won a 2014 Product Innovation Award (PIA) presented by Architectural Products magazine for its new and highly durable HS-Series Terreon™ Solid Surface Undermount Basins. The HS-Series is the only collection of ADA-compliant, multipurpose basins featuring a flat bottom design with clean, contemporary lines.

The Terreon Undermount Basins scored high in PIA’s Restroom Products/Plumbing Category with the panel of 50 independent industry professionals representing the architectural community who selected the most outstanding and innovative product solutions used in commercial buildings and institutions.

HS-Series Undermount Basins provide durability and flexibility

HS-Series Undermount Basins can be specified either as a seamless, prefabricated Bradley Omnideck™ Lavatory System packaged ready to install, or basin only with Terreon solid surface countertops ready for field fabrication. With 32 Terreon colors and three contemporary basin shapes available – rectangular, square or oval – the design possibilities are endless.

The flat bottom design not only provides a high aesthetic, but also maximizes capacity making the basins ideal for general hand washing or multipurpose use.

Compliant with ADA guidelines, the HS-Series Undermount Basins are ideal for healthcare applications such as exam rooms, patient rooms and nursing stations, as well as a number of commercial hand washing applications, including laboratories, high-rise offices, airports and more.

Resilient Terreon solid surface material

Constructed of durable, non-porous Terreon solid surface material, HS-Series Undermount Basins are repairable to its original finish. Terreon resists stains, burns, chemicals and impact, which makes it an appealing product for high-volume and every day applications. Surface marks and scratches are repaired easily with everyday cleaners or fine-grit abrasives, making the material very easy to clean and maintain. Since there are no seams or adhesives, Terreon does not support microbial growth, so germs and bacteria are kept at bay. It has earned the IAPMO Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and the Home Innovation Lab Certification, and is GREENGUARD-Certified as a low-emitting material.

“Bradley is thrilled to have won a Product Innovation Award for our lavatory products for the past three years in a row,” said Jon Dommisse, director of global marketing and strategic development for Bradley. “This past year the HS-Series Undermount Basins have proved to be very popular within many markets based on their high durability, flexibility and aesthetics.”

With the Serenity expansion, customers can choose from 55 freestanding, undermount and drop-in, acrylic shells in a variety of sizes, finishes and colors, and also customizable as soaker, HotSoak, air bath or DriftBath(TM) tubs.

Aquatic, the leader in innovative and inspired bathware, today announced the addition of eight new modern-style, drop-in tubs to its best-selling Serenity series, renowned for offering the ultimate in personalized hydrotherapy. With the Serenity expansion, customers now will have a choice of 55 freestanding, undermount and drop-in, acrylic shells in a variety of sizes, finishes and colors, and also customizable as soaker, HotSoak, air bath or DriftBath(TM) tubs. Exclusively available from Aquatic, DriftBath simulates the relaxing experience of sitting in a gentle stream. Aquatic developed the new models based on consumer focus group research and customer feedback on prototypes showcased earlier this year at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas.

“Nothing is more important to Aquatic than listening and responding to what we hear from end-users and distributors – once again, they have been the inspiration for us to design and produce great new products,” said Michael Tse, Product Manager, Hydrotherapy, Aquatic. “We’re delighted to be able to offer more options than ever to our perennially popular Serenity family – options that we know the marketplace wants.” The new tubs are modern-looking with sleek, clean lines yet soothing and welcoming at the same time, thanks to softening design elements. These include oval bottoms, curved back areas and arm rests that invite the bather to sit back and fully relax. For added convenience and comfort, Aquatic offers an optional linear overflow drain on the new units as an alternative to the traditional circular drain. The linear drain allows the tubs to be a few inches lower in height without sacrificing bathing well and water depth. The baths are available in a selection of sizes with footprints that fit standard bath alcoves. They come in standard and premium colors for the Serenity series.

The new Serenity models include:

● Serenity 50 (60”x32”x22”) and Serenity 51 (72”x32”x22”), sized for narrower bathroom spaces yet still big on comfort with a contoured backrest.

●Serenity 52 (60″x36″x22″), Serenity 53 (66″x36″x22″) and Serenity 54 (72″X36″x22″), featuring an oval bottom with a rectangular shape at the top to create a spacious bathing well and ample contouring for the bather’s lumbar area. The larger Serenity 54 is designed for two people.

● Serenity 55 (63″x34″x22″) and Serenity 56 (69″x38″x22″), which are notable for great ergonomics. The front-to-back graduated deck height and an elongated backrest maximize the bathing space without increasing the tub’s footprint. Shaped armrests help the bather soak effortlessly.

● Serenity 57 (60”x32”x19 5⁄8”), designed with ease of use in mind. The tub’s lower height and optional linear overflow makes entry and exit safer and easier while still providing a deep bathing well for an allencompassing soak. With a rectangular shape and clean lines, this bath beautifies traditional to modern bathroom spaces.

Aquatic is introducing the new Serenity models nationwide on a staggered basis. Serenity 50 and 51 are currently available and the rest will be introduced between now and early 2015.
