Rockland, MA-based Neutrasafe Corp. has added new products to their line of high-quality condensate neutralizers to fit almost any hi-efficiency, gas fired application. Improvements have also been made to all tube-type and tank-type neutralizers, enhancing ease of maintenance and/or performance.
Tube-type condensate neutralizers are now offered in four sizes from 220,000 to 2 million BTUH. Addition of the largest size now fills the gap between the company’s 1.2 million BTUH tube-type unit and the smallest tank-type neutralizer. Tank configurations are available with capacity guidelines of 4 million and 6 million BTUH.
The new patent pending tube-type neutralizers feature integral unions with O-ring seals that greatly simplify removal for service and recharging. Unclasping a lock ring on either end of the unit allows the main body to be removed without disturbing the drain line. Replacement O-rings are included with tube model recharge kits and all tube model neutralizers are available with a snap-in mounting clamp option. The new model was designed by a Master Plumber with more than 30 years in the industry and is completely manufactured in the US.
Along with Neutra-Safe’s upgraded and expanded product line, the neutralization media for all units has been improved. A mix of calcite and magnesium oxide pellets is now used for enhanced performance and is also available in recharge kits for any of Neutra-Safe’s condensate neutralizers.

APPLICATION: MUNICIPAL/ UTILITY; INDUSTRIAL; COMMERCIAL BUSINESS SERVICES
The Grundfos line of SL submersible wastewater pumps are designed to handle raw, unscreened sewage, effluent, large volumes of surface water and process water in municipal, utility and industrial applications. The solids-handing pump series, in motor ranges from 1.5 to 15 horsepower (HP), is available in two types of impellers:
- SLV/SuperVortex Impeller: This pump type provides the free passage of solids up to 4 inches in diameter, making it ideal for liquids with a content of solids, fibers or gassy sludge.
- SL1/S Tube Impeller: This pump type also accommodates solids up to 4 inches, but is designed particularly for large flows of raw sewage.
The SLV and SL1 pumps are designed for permanent submerged installation in demanding applications such as municipal wastewater, network pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, public buildings, housing projects and other commercial applications.
The series is designed with IE3 premium efficiency motor components, quick removable pump housing clamps, cartridges seals, quick removable plug in cord, and smooth exterior components for high efficiency performance along with an easy to service pump.

Adrian Steel introduces an innovative solution for the transport of step ladders inside of work vans. This solution provides a safe and efficient means of transport for your step ladder from job site to job site. Such transport is possible thanks to a new product, the Interior Ladder Rack, which allows you to store your ladder inside of your van by mounting it to either the partition or shelf panel.
Out of the Way, Never Out of Reach.
The Interior Ladder Rack from Adrian Steel…
- Allows you to store your ladder inside while providing quick and easy access to your ladder from the outside of your vehicle.
- Does not take up, limit, or reduce vertical standing room in your van, allowing you to make full use of your vehicle.
- Eliminates the outside wear and tear on your ladder, as it will be stored inside and thus protecting your ladder from the elements, theft, and road grime.
- Customers will appreciate your use of clean, well taken care of equipment rather than bringing the outside mess into their home.
- Features plastic coated clamps to protect the ladder rungs during transit.
- Perfect for carrying 4ft and 6ft step ladders and works best in medium and high roof vans.

APPLICATION: DOMESTIC HOT WATER RECIRCULATION
The new Grundfos COMFORT PM AUTO® range of residential circulating pumps set the standard for intelligent and energy-efficient hot water recirculation through its AUTOADAPT function, which learns the household’s consumption patterns and then adapts to it.
When using the AUTOADAPT mode, average run times are only 3 hours per day, yielding up to an 85 percent power and 48 percent heat/energy savings over conventional constant-speed circulators.
The single phase, 115V pump motor yields up to 6.5 GPM and uses two temperature sensors; one within the pump and another connected by a cable installed in the hot-water flow pipe.
Grundfos is the only manufacturer to offer a variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM)-based circulator that uses an integrated logic algorithm to “learn” the varying energy-usage patterns of an application over time, enabling the software to automatically determine the lowest possible operating‐ efficiency point to meet ever-changing demand. By continuously fine‐tuning power consumption and flow rates to meet the dynamic needs of the system, this AUTOADAPT function saves both energy and money.
The AUTOADAPT function is so powerful that eight out of every ten installations can rely on this feature to automatically select the optimal setting, with no additional human intervention. For the installer, that simply means plug and play and walk away.
