Honor highlights people-centered culture and reflects employee initiatives

Harris, a leading mechanical contractor, has announced that it has been named 2021 Top Workplaces USA. This is the first year that Energage has taken its highly-recognized regional Top Workplaces awards to the national level.

“We want to thank our Harris team for making us a Top Workplace in 2021,” says Michel Michno, CEO. “Back in 2016, we started a new strategic plan, part of which included making “Talent and Culture” not only a strategic imperative, but our game-changer. Our team has made tremendous progress on building a culture of dialogue and honest feedback. The recognition of Harris as a top workplace is an honor, as it demonstrates employee engagement, and we will continue our journey to make Harris the best place to work.”

Being selected as a top workplace is based solely on feedback of employees gathered through a third-party survey, which is administered by Energage, LLC., the nation’s most credible employer recognition program. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization, which includes feeling aligned, connected and coached.

“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”

Harris’ coordinated team approach extends to the work it does in the industry as it collaborates across offices, areas of expertise and with all trades to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions for its clients.
