Sept. 26, 2024 – CEO Warrior, a global business training, coaching and implementation organization for service business owners, will be on hand to discuss innovative growth strategies for the home service industry at the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors National Association (PHCC) CONNECT 2024 conference in Birmingham, Alabama, Oct. 7-10. CEO Warrior will be at Booth No. 705 during the event.
“As leaders in instruction and continuous education in the skilled trades space, PHCC CONNECT is a must-attend event,” said CEO Warrior CEO Scott August. “This show attracts the best and brightest in the trades service sector. It also caters to leaders in these organizations who make the decisions on how to spend their training dollars. CEO Warrior’s value-added advantage is that we not only help leaders overcome the obstacles they face when trying to grow and scale their companies, but we also understand the skilled trades industry.”
August said most of CEO Warrior’s coaches and mentors came up through the residential and commercial service industry and have real-world experience. CEO Warrior Director of Sales and Marketing Sandy Papavero, Director of Business Development Caroline Moriarty and Director of Advisement Jason Noel, who each have more than 10 years’ experience helping business leaders, will be at the booth to answer questions.
“Our advisors have built and managed successful home service companies and know this market and what it takes to compete in it,” August said. “As this conference shows, effective training is the cornerstone of any thriving home service business. At CEO Warrior, we believe that ongoing training not only helps employees improve in their roles, it also instills a mindset of continuous improvement and customer-centric service.”
CEO Warrior not only provides training and mentoring for business leaders in the home service and skilled trades industries, the company has also developed a partnership program with some of the industry’s leading product providers and service leaders to provide innovative products and meaningful knowledge to its members.

CEO Warrior, a nationally recognized business development, training and implementation organization for the service business industry, announced today that it has become a gold sponsor of Women in HVACR, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration trades.
CEO Warrior’s gold sponsorship is in the consultant and services category.
“Women in HVACR’s mission of encouraging women to enter the trades is something we at CEO Warrior wholeheartedly support,” CEO Warrior CEO Scott Bohannon said. “It not only empowers women, it helps address one of the biggest hurdles the service industry faces – the labor shortage. We’re very proud of this relationship.”
Sponsorships to Women in HVACR are used to enhance women’s roles in the trades industry by providing education, mentoring and networking opportunities for women who are currently working in the industry and to women who are interested in joining the trades.
“We are thrilled to welcome our new partnership with CEO Warrior, a company that recognizes the invaluable contributions of women in the HVACR industry,” said Women in HVACR Board of Directors Vice President Kristin Gallup, who also serves as the director of product management marketing for Carrier Enterprise. “This collaboration is a testament to the growing importance of supporting and empowering women in the home service sector. As we continue to break barriers and shatter stereotypes, this sponsorship not only enhances our program but also sends a powerful message about the strength and resilience of women. Together, we are creating a more inclusive and diverse future for the HVACR industry, where every woman can thrive and excel.”
CEO Warrior is the highest-level business training and implementation organization in the trades industry. It hires mentors who have thrived in the trades industry to provide training and consultation services to leaders in the trades who want to grow and scale their companies.
“Women in HVACR have commendable diversity and inclusivity initiatives that I am eager to endorse,” said CEO Warrior Director of Business Development Caroline Moriarty. “This collaboration provides CEO Warrior with the opportunity to actively contribute to and create more opportunities for women in the HVACR industry.”
Women in HVACR was formed in 2002 during the AHR Expo after founders Ruth King and Gwen Hoskins began discussing ways to increase female participation in the trades industry while attending the event, held annually in Chicago.
Women in HVACR is an organization that fosters networking, education and mentoring for women in the industry. The group encourages women already in the industry and fosters growth for more females to become involved. The organization has scholarship and mentor programs aimed at helping women establish themselves in the trades.

The global business mentoring and coaching organization’s four-day event helps members revitalize their business and plan for growth
CEO Warrior, a global business mentoring, training and coaching organization for service business owners, will host its Warrior Awakening event June 6-9 with an eye toward helping home service companies scale their businesses by awakening their inner warriors.
“The Warrior Awakening event is not only geared toward helping contractors revitalize their business and optimize growth, but it also teaches them how to implement a warrior culture within their organization that sticks,” said CEO Warrior co-owner and Chief Operating Officer Mike Disney. “Each day is packed with tips to grow, scale and dominate your market, differentiate yourself from your competition and prepare the right strategies for an improved future.”
The four-day course will also feature vendor showcases, sessions on recruiting, training and retaining the right employees, a Centurion/Emperor dinner and a belt ceremony dedicated to former CEO Warrior member Dustin Folkes.
Folkes started Folkes Homes Services in New York’s Hudson Valley in 1998 with one truck and grew it into a powerhouse service company employing more than 30 people. He was an active and beloved member of CEO Warrior before his death in November 2021.
“We want to bring out our attendees’ inner warriors,” Disney said. “This event isn’t for the faint-hearted. It’s hands-on training that can involve mental and physical challenges designed to teach contractors how to apply the lessons they will learn. Applied knowledge is power. You can learn new skill sets, but they don’t work until you change your mindset.”
The seminar will be held at CEO Warrior’s headquarters in Brunswick, New Jersey and is only open to the company’s members.
