RectorSeal LLC., a leading manufacturer of quality HVAC/R and plumbing accessories, has announced the release of new code-compliant HVAC lineset jackets offering protection from wind, code-compliant UV rays, and abrasion.

With the growth of new building code regulations requiring the protection of foam insulation on HVAC linesets, RectorSeal now offers durable UV-resistant PVC foam insulation jackets providing a simple, easy, and compliant solution for HVAC contractors. The innovative hook and loop fastening system is bonded and sewn for extra adherence.  That allows the lineset insulation jackets to be both removable and reusable for easy installation and maintenance. Available in three wall sizes, the system lineset jackets are designed to fit residential and commercial ducted and ductless HVAC systems.

Additional features of the lineset jackets include a Class II Vapor Retarder Per ASTM-E96 Water/Vapor Permeability Test. Further, they provide a secure, breathable, tight fit, covering multiple lineset diameters, and do not fray when cut to size.

“The addition of our new lineset jackets is a perfect complement to our Outset Seal products,” said Jeff Underwood, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at RectorSeal. “We now have an end-to-end protection system for HVAC linesets from wall penetration to condensing unit. We strive to provide our customers with optimal solutions that offer added protection and code compliance regardless of the product category.”

RectorSeal®, Houston, a leading manufacturer of quality HVAC/R and plumbing tools and accessories and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSW Industrials, Inc. [NASDAQ: CSWI], adds new and improved 13-inch Big Foot® H-Frame kit to the company’s expansive line of HVAC products.

The Big Foot 13-inch H-Frame kit is designed for ideal rooftop support of ancillary equipment, including ducts, pipes, and cable trays. Available in three sizes, Small, Large, and Mega, Big Foot H-Frame kits are suitable for internal or external applications ranging from -220 degrees to 1760  degrees.

Big Foot 13″ H Frame

The new 13-inch H-Frame Kit differs from the current assortment, with its improved flexibility to accept multiple sized struts or threaded bar – 13/16 x 1 5/8″, 1 9/16 x 1 1/2″ and 1 5/8 x 1 5/8″ strut, and 1 9/16 x 1 9/16 box section steel. The EPDM anti-vibration mats come adhered to the 13″ x 13″ new look feet, which conforms better to uneven surfaces.

Big Foot systems set a new standard for free-standing, non-penetrative frames.  The rugged stance, modular flexibility, and architecturally friendly systems provide optimum weight distribution coupled with quick on-site leveling and a reduced risk of roof leaks.  Big Foot systems do not penetrate the waterproof membrane of roofing, avoiding the requirement for the difficult installation of flashing around structures.  With up to a maximum load capacity of 1,100 pounds, weather-resistant Big Foot H-Frame kits offer outstanding installation flexibility.

Big Foot bases are constructed of glass-filled Nylon with UV protection.  The frameworks are hot-dip galvanized for all-weather protection. Further, they are tested to ASTM (Salt Mist) B117 and G85 (Acetic Salt Mist) standards.

Fire Blocking Expanding Polyurethane Foam Sealant More Cost-Effective Than Standard Fiberglass and Caulks

RectorSeal®, Houston, a leading manufacturer of quality HVAC/R and plumbing tools and accessories, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSW Industrials, Inc. [NASDAQ: CSWI], has introduced Draft-Block™ Orange, a fire blocking expanding polyurethane foam sealant for use by trade professionals across North America.

Designed for Type V residential construction, Draft-Block Orange is an excellent filler that expands up to three times to fill, bond, and insulate a wide assortment of applications. As a low pressure, one-component product, it adheres readily to wood, glass, metal, tile, concrete, and most plastics. Beyond its fire blocking benefits, Draft-Block Orange helps to reduce sound transmission.

Available in a 12-ounce aerosol can, Draft-Block Orange fills voids, cracks, crevices, and small cavities on flat and irregular surfaces. After curing, Draft-Block Orange is an odorless, non-corrosive, non-reactive inert substance.

As indicated in the product name, its orange color makes it easily identifiable during use. As a polyurethane foam, Draft-Block Orange is completely dielectric and contains no urea or formaldehyde. When properly applied, Draft-Block Orange dries tack-free in approximately 5 minutes. It is cuttable within 1 hour and fully cured within 12-24 hours. When fully cured, Draft-Block Orange is resistant to water and outdoor exposure. The product adheres to UL evaluation report R40378-01 and achieves an ASTM E84 rating.

Draft-Block Orange offers outstanding performance when used in voids around plumbing and utility penetrations to stop drafts and prevent the intrusion of insects and other pests. Additional use includes sealing around windows, air conditioners, ducts, and vents and providing energy-saving features in heating and cooling installations. Draft-Block Orange can help seal voids in siding, door jams, foundations, and concrete joints.
