RIDGID®, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, is once again giving trade professionals a contest to win the trip of a lifetime. The company announced today they have begun accepting entries for the RIDGID Experience contest, being held Aug. 3-5 at RIDGID world headquarters. Five grand prize winners will be selected to receive the event’s signature VIP treatment at the annual, all-expenses-paid trip that continues to grow in popularity.

Entries will be accepted through April 29, 2022. Contest winners will be selected based on their response to questions, trade involvement, enthusiasm for RIDGID tools displayed in submitted picture or video, and originality and uniqueness of entry. “It is so important to us as a brand to recognize the hard work, commitment and dedication that trade professionals put into their jobs every day. RIDGID®, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, is excited to announce the return of RIDGID Experience, Sept. 22-24, at RIDGID headquarters in Elyria, Ohio. Four grand prize winners, including apprentices and professionals, will be selected the week of July 12 from last year’s U.S. entrants after the 2020 trip was canceled due to the pandemic and from those who enter this year by July 2.

“We’re excited to have RIDGID Experience make a comeback. For years, we’ve boosted our outreach programs to help attract the next generation of professionals to the skilled trades. Nine of the most passionate RIDGID® fans recently experienced the trip of a lifetime to the RIDGID world headquarters as part of the 2nd Annual RIDGID Experience Contest. The all-expenses-paid VIP trip included a tour of the headquarters and the opportunity to build their very own iconic RIDGID custom pipe wrench, take part in a photoshoot for an upcoming brand campaign, go walleye fishing on Lake Erie and more.

As part of the headquarters visit, winners had the chance to tour the plant, get a sneak peek of the latest innovations that have yet to hit the market, meet some of the men and women who make the tools they use daily on the jobsite and provide insight for future product developments.

“I’ve been using these tools for 15 years and being here and seeing the machines and people who make the tools, it’s emotional,” said Bobby Scirica, contest winner and plumbing – service technician from Arizona. He describes the SeeSnake® Camera as one of his favorite RIDGID tools to use on the jobsite.
