Geberit introduces a new flush actuator series, Sigma21, for their concealed tank and carrier systems. The new actuators provide designers and architects with finish choices not available from any other manufacturer. In addition to white, black and sand glass finishes, Sigma21 is available in genuine Brazilian slate, providing a transitional design motif that complements traditional as well as contemporary bathrooms. Sigma21 is also available with a customizable overlay that can be personalized to blend seamlessly with the wall or create a unique design statement.

“We’re pleased to introduce the striking new Sigma21 Series flush actuators,” says Ronn Jefferson, Geberit Product Manager. “Sigma21 features a frameless design, a durable die cast zinc base unit and can be used in 2×6 and 2×4 installations. Now designers and architects have even more options – more than any other manufacturer – to create a space that matches a customer’s unique style.”

The Sigma21 flush plate is designed to operate reliably push after push, allow easy accessibility for maintenance and achieve maximum water savings when used in conjunction with Geberit dual-flush in-wall toilet tanks.

The Geberit system combined with a wall-hung toilet offers many advantages beyond aesthetics including more space, improved accessibility, better hygiene, real water savings, and superior reliability. Removing the toilet from the floor and suspending it from the wall makes cleaning easy. Plus, installing the toilet seat at a predetermined height — adjustable from 15 to 19 inches — makes it accessible and safe for children and family members with special needs. The system is strong and durable, supporting up to 880 lbs. (400 kg). When combined with the Geberit dual-flush plate — with a big button for standard flush (1.28–1.6 GPF/4.8–6 LPF) and a small button for low-volume flush (0.8 GPF/3 LPF) — a typical family can reduce water consumption by thousands of gallons per year, saving money and paying back the cost of the system over the course of its lifetime.

Gerber®, an industry leader in high performing plumbing fixtures, has added a MaP Premium dual flush toilet to its high performing Viper® product line.

The Viper Dual Flush Toilet is one of the industry’s top solutions for those looking for meaningful water-saving product options in the bathroom. A smart solution for residential, hospitality and other applications, this two-piece toilet has two buttons on the top of the tank to dictate the flush rate – one flushing 0.9 gallons per flush (gpf) for liquid and one flushing 1.1 gpf for solid, making this toilet consume less than 1.0 gpf on average (0.97 gpf average water consumption). The toilet is WaterSense® certified for its contributions to water conservation. With that certification comes recognition for high performance, even at a lower flush volume.

“The water savings with this product is exceptional,” says Lovin Saini, senior product manager for Gerber. “Users experience a 19 percent savings over 1.28 gpf models and more than 70 percent over older traditional 3.5 gpf models.”In addition to these water-savings, this toilet provides an exceptional 51 feet of drain line carry and is rated to flush solid waste at over 2.8x the EPA’s baseline WaterSense specification and that of MaP testing norms, making it MaP Premium rated.”

According to Saini, the Viper Dual Flush provides some of the industry’s most noteworthy features and components, including:

  • 1000 Map Score (4x the average bulk weight disposal requirement)
  • Proprietary rim pattern for complete bowl rinse with every flush
  • ErgoHeight® ADA Elongated Bowl for added comfort
  • 3″ flush valve for maximum water flow and flushing power
  • Multi-point tank-to-bowl mounting system for easy tool-free installation
  • 5 year warranty
