“Winsupply selected the very best of our many excellent suppliers in each respective industry,” said Roland Gordon, company president. “They partnered with our nearly 580 locations and Winsupply Sourcing Services to provide our customers with outstanding products and service. Our relationships with them made a significant contribution to Winsupply’s record year in 2015.”

Monte Salsman, chief operating officer, and Eddie Gibbs, vice president, vendor relations, presented the vendor awards at a dinner attended by 1,300 Winsupply people and vendor representatives. The dinner also honored Win local companies for their 2015 achievements along with individuals who earned special recognition.

About 180 vendors that supply products to the Win Family of Companies participated in the vendor showcase March 15. Vendors displayed products and talked with representatives from Win and Noland locations at the showcase and in scheduled one-on-one meetings.

P.V. Sullivan, a plumbing supplier in the Boston area is opening a new location in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

They purchased a building at 1125 Sheridan St. and are renovating the 43,000 square-foot building. They plan on hiring about 12 new employees to serve the local area.

Paul Sullivan started P.V. Sullivan in 1968 in a small warehouse in Dorchester, MA. He worked 7 days a week to provide his commercial plumbing customers. Mr. Sullivan built a team of industry professionals who were dedicated to servicing our customers. The company is now under the leadership of his nephew Jim Sullivan along with a few more family members.

They plan a grand opening on March 16th.

Plumbing distributor serves Chicago, northern Illinois and northwest Indiana

WinWholesale Inc., headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, has acquired M. Cooper Supply, of Mokena, Ill. WinWholesale is one of the nation’s largest distributors of supplies and materials to residential and commercial construction and industrial markets. The transaction closed July 1. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

M. Cooper Supply is a plumbing distributor providing services to the Chicago metro area, all counties in northern Illinois and northwest Indiana from its distribution center in Mokena. The company will do business as M. Cooper Winsupply.

Tom Schleisner, WinWholesale area leader, has been named interim president of M. Cooper Winsupply. Current M. Cooper executives Dave Poteete and Greg Goode will remain with the company in senior-level positions.

Cooper Supply is an established company with a significant footprint in the Chicago market along with northern Illinois and northwest Indiana,” said Jack Johnston, WinWholesale president. “This acquisition supports our growth strategy by giving us an important presence in these markets and will enable us to build on the strong customer relationships M.
