Trane Approves PolyPro Single-Wall, Flex and Concentric for All Condensing Gas Furnaces
Vacaville, CA – M&G DuraVent announced today that it has obtained a key approval for PolyPro Venting Systems. PolyPro vent pipe, fittings and terminations have been approved for use on all models of Trane condensing gas furnaces.
PolyPro venting features gaskets that are installed in the female end of vent pipes to make joining together individual vent pipe quick and easy. When replacing a mid-efficiency appliance with a new condensing 90+ appliance, you can use the existing B vent (any brand) as a chase for the new appliance with PolyPro. Locking bands are required for all joints—screws are not allowed as they would penetrate the sealed wall of the vent pipe.
