Offering four times the charging current of a standard charger, the two-cycle charging method gets pros back to work faster
Bosch Power Tools, a global leader for power tools and power tool accessories, today announced the addition of its new six-bay charger, the GAL18V6-80, offering convenience and speed when charging multiple Bosch 18V batteries. The sequential, two-cycle charging method is designed to minimize downtime, improve organization and stay power-ready in a lightweight, easy to transport package.

“Designed to get users back to work as quickly as possible, the newest addition to the Bosch charger lineup delivers fast and efficient 2-cycle charging,” said Jocelyn Cronin, Project Management Specialist at Bosch Power Tools. “Offering power and convenience at an unparalleled value, the charger is must-have for pros in any trade.”
The GAL18V6-80 features an 8-Amp charging current, which delivers four times the charging current of a standard charger. 8-Amp and Sequential 2-cycle charging gets users back to work quickly. The first cycle is capable of charging CORE18V 4.0 Ah batteries to 80 percent in 32 minutes and full charge in 50 minutes. Additionally, LED indicators show charging cycle and level for each battery, allowing users to monitor and prioritize battery charging while they work.
The charger also features a cooling fan, providing active cooling to optimize charging and prevent overheating. Additionally, it comes a large handle and cord wrap to make transportation easy and convenient.
Bosch Power Tools Battery Charger Fast Facts
- The 18V 6-Bay Lithium-Ion Fast Battery Charger delivers convenience and speed when charging multiple Bosch 18V batteries.
- Offering an 8-amp charging current, four times the charging current of a standard charger, the two-cycle charging method gets users back to work faster.
- The charger first cycles through the connected batteries, charging CORE18V 4.0 Ah batteries to approximately 80 percent in 32 minutes, before cycling again to charge the batteries to full capacity in 50 minutes.
- LED indicators in each charging bay show charging cycle and level for each battery, allowing users to monitor progress while they work.
- Each charging bay has a priority button that will immediately start the charging process in that charging bay. If the priority button is pressed once, the battery in that bay is prioritized, meaning that it will be charged to approximately 80% first. If the priority button is pressed again, the battery in that bay will be prioritized further, charging it to full capacity.
- An error indicator alerts users in case of charging interruptions due to temperature and/or faults.
- The charger is equipped with an active cooling fan, designed to prevent overheating and optimize charging.
- The charger doubles as an ideal battery transportation solution, featuring a large handle and cord wrap.
- A flexible charging solution, the GAL18V6-80 is compatible with Bosch 18V lithium-ion batteries.

With the acquisition of HoldRite in 2017, RWC knew it had gained something special. Well-known and respected for its firestopping solutions, HoldRite continued to lead brand and category growth through product innovation well after the acquisition.
And after the successful introduction of the first iteration of HoldRite firestop sealants in 2019, RWC is now offering an even more robust solution with the launch of the HydroFlame 300 self-leveling (HF300SL) and HydroFlame 300 caulk-grade (HF300CG) silicone firestop sealants.
First launched in June 2020, the HF300SL and HF300CG are moisture-resistant silicone fire sealants designed for areas subjected to high levels of moisture or when UL listed W ratings are required. As quick curing silicone sealants, they can also be used across a variety of pipe types. The self-leveling HF300SL is designed for floor applications, while the HF300CG is a caulk-grade sealant designed for use on both floor and wall penetrations.

“The new iterations of our firestop sealants will provide contractors a solution that is both excellent for W ratings and washout conditions while also developing new efficiencies,” said Jeff Hamilton, firestop product manager at RWC. “HF300SL and HF300CG will simplify installation and create new standards to elevate contractors’ businesses, especially where W-rated sealants are needed.”
RWC pursues supreme quality through each product design. With continued investment in firestopping solutions, the manufacturer is continuing to lead one of the most innovative and transformative segments in the market.
The new silicone sealants are just one part of HoldRite’s proven system of firestopping solutions. Customers have come to understand the value and advantages of using HoldRite’s HydroFlame products for firestopping needs, and when they express the need for additional solutions, RWC listens.
“We are in the field and partner with customers to ensure we hear feedback first-hand. We take those inputs to our team to help inform product improvements and innovation,” Hamilton continued. “By listening to feedback, we are evolving how and what we create to make efforts more efficient and cost effective.”

CDC Guidelines Call for Eliminating “High-touch Communal Items, such as Shared Water Fountains, as Schools, Offices and Gyms Reopen with Heightened Health and Safety Awareness
With the CDC recommending that schools and workplaces minimize the use and touching of water fountains or consider installing no-touch alternatives, FloWater announces the availability of foot pedal technology for the plumbing and water hardware industries for its already self-sanitizing FloWater Refill Stations, making them fully ‘touchless.’
Identified by the federal government as “essential critical infrastructure workers” during the Covid-19 crisis, plumbing contractors are at the forefront of ‘reopening’ America with safe drinking water.
In addition to being ‘touchless’ and fully self-sanitizing, the FloWater Advanced Osmosis water purification technology removes up to 99.99 % of all toxins and contaminants in water, including viruses, bacteria, heavy metals like lead and arsenic, chemicals, and microplastics. Now, with the availability of ‘touchless’ foot pedal activation devices, FloWater Refill Stations also eliminate the risk of communal surface cross-contamination of COVID, while building management the time and expense of having their custodial staffs continually wiping down water fountain surfaces.

FloWater Refill Stations are free-standing and easy to install, connecting to any potable water line within 10 feet, meaning that most buildings can simply replace their old water fountains in the same location.
“Before COVID, we were seeing a high demand as building management looked to eliminate plastic waste. Now, as America ‘reopens’ and plans for a safer future, ‘touchless’ FloWater Refill Stations will play an essential role in reducing the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses and bacteria in our offices, schools, gyms, hospitals and other buildings,” according to FloWater CEO and Co-Founder, Rich Razgaitis.
FloWater Refill Stations have an award-winning design and advanced technology that includes:
- Advanced Osmosis water purification with pores of approximately 0.0005 microns in size, much smaller than viruses and bacteria (which generally are anywhere from .02 to 1.0 microns in size). Removes up to 99.99% of all toxins and contaminants in water, including viruses, bacteria, heavy metals like lead and arsenic, chemicals, and microplastics.
- Ozone-generating devices that disperses consistently throughout the day. Ozone is one of the most potent sanitization mechanisms available and is destructive to bacteria and viruses.
- ‘Touchless’ activation foot pedals for a completely hands-free experience.
- A large fill area with a fully recessed dispensing nozzle with no bottle contact, eliminating potential cross-contamination from bottle to bottle.

The FloWater technology also alkalizes and oxygenates the water and adds electrolytes for better hydration. A carbon coconut filter ‘finishes’ the chilled water for a great taste.
