Niagara^®, the leader in high-performance, water-saving toilets today announced the addition of two new lines of modern sinks that will complement its award-winning Liberty and Shadow toilet lines – part of the brand’s Pro product suites. Both collections are dedicated to the traditional wholesale channel and designed specifically with features and benefits for builders, remodelers and plumbing professionals.

The new sink lines provide designers and building pros with matching options for Niagara’s Liberty and Shadow lines, creating modern bathroom collections for residential, multifamily and hospitality properties. The two new lines of sinks feature eight different SKUs that include drop-in and pedestal options, round and oval shapes and varying heights and circumferences. All are made from white vitreous china that is easy to clean and matches perfectly with Niagara’s toilet lines.

Niagara’s Liberty Collection installs quickly and the toilets have an extra-large footprint that uses a standard flapper that is familiar to plumbers. At a 1.28 GPF flush volume, the Liberty toilets can flush 800g of miso, carry a 15-year warranty, and are MaP and WaterSense certified.

Niagara’s Shadow Collection includes toilets with Stealth Technology^® — the best solution for those wanting high design, performance and efficiency. Offered in 0.8 and 1.28 GPF, the sleek design of the sink and toilet will upgrade the appearance of any bathroom. The Shadow toilets flush 1,000g of miso, carry a 15-year warranty, and are MaP Premium and WaterSense certified.

The new Niagara sinks, like their matching toilets, boast a lifetime warranty on vitreous china and a dedicated team of customer service professionals for the wholesale plumbing channel who are available to answer questions.

NIBCO INC. expands its Wrot Racer^® push fittings to include new configurations such as reducing and repair tees and couplings, additional sizes of male and female thread adapters, thread elbows and caps with drains.

The Wrot Racer line is designed to join copper, CPVC-CTS, PEX and PE-RT (with stiffeners) for easy transitions between piping systems. Featuring a patented fitting design, installations are easily made within seconds.

Wrot Racer push fittings are manufactured in the U.S. of 99.9 percent pure wrot copper. Naturally lead free, the fittings feature antimicrobial properties and zero dezincification, providing for safe, clean drinking water connections for both residential and commercial applications.

Available in 1/2″ to 1″ sizes, the lightweight and compact Wrot Racer fittings are able to be installed wet or dry and can handle applications up to 200 psi and 200 degrees. The new fittings feature stainless steel gripper rings to ensure a secure connection. Wrot Racer fittings are ideal for tight-space installations and can also be removed and reused, avoiding wasted materials.

Manufactured from recyclable materials, Wrot Racer fittings are environmentally green and meet a variety of certifications and standards including ANSI/NSF 14, 61, 372 and ASSE 1061.

HammerHead ® Trenchless attended the 2023 Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport (WWETT) Show at the Indianapolis
Convention Center, Feb. 21 through Feb. 23, 2023. Among its show
highlights, the company hosted 12 live product demonstrations that span three focal areas, including a real-time Bluelight LED lining demonstration in the Live Demo area of the WWETT Show floor.

HammerHead application specialists will perform a 20-foot above-ground, air inversion CIPP demonstration, utilizing the most advanced light-curing system available: Bluelight LED. During the 30-minute demonstration, guests will experience the lateral lining process from inversion to cure.

The first, “CIPP Technologies,” explores common approaches to cured-in-place practices and quality testing measures to ensure resilience. The second, “HydraSlitter Lead Pipe Replacement,” showcases a new product solution for the nationwide drive to replace lead and copper pipes.

“It’s always been a focus of HammerHead to share knowledge and best practices within the industry,” said Jeff Gabrielse, general manager, HammerHead Trenchless. “We have tremendous in-house expertise, so these live demonstrations are the ideal platform for sharing – and even gaining – insight from customers.”

Gabrielse added, “Another facet of our booth is an area dedicated to HHU Online. Our training and certification program is unmatched in the industry and the new online platform is an extension of our in-person offering.” HammerHead University Online launched in December 2022 and features free online courses, covering a variety of HammerHead products and applications from company experts.

In addition to sharing new products, updates to current products and live
demonstrations, the HammerHead booth featured a new experience in the form of shopping kiosks. “We’ll have kiosks set up, enabling customers to place online orders directly in the booth,” Gabrielse said. “So, customers will order at WWETT and have the items at their shop when they return home,” he added.

About the Bluelight LED CIPP Lining System

The newly redesigned Bluelight LED CIPP lining system for laterals and small drain pipes is the most advanced light-curing system available. The innovative technology empowers CIPP lining pros by alleviating the time pressures of other CIPP systems. The specially formulated resin only cures under light in the “blue” wavelength, giving installers a significantly longer working time between liner wet-out and curing. Once installed, the automated curing system pulls the LED light head through the liner – curing the resin almost instantly – up to five times faster than other methods.
