Watts has announced the launch of its new QuadRail™ Fastener system. The QuadRail™ Fastener is designed to hold a wide variety of Watts tubing and pipe in a substrate such as concrete, thin slab, and sand.
Ideal for radiant heating/cooling or snow melt applications, these rails can be secured to foam board insulation, wood sub-flooring, or turf using staples, screws, or nails.
The QuadRail™ Fastener can be used with the following Watts tubing:
- RadiantPEX+™, RadiantPERT™ and RadiantPEX-AL™ tube in sizes 3/8” through ¾”
- Onix™ in sizes 3/8” through 5/8”
QuadRail™ Fastener specifications:
- Injection molded of durable nylon
- Flexible to easily follow the contour of the surface it’s being attached to
- Each rail: 4-feet long

This enables home and business owners to confidently add a complete modern bathroom wherever it is impossible or cost-prohibitive to do so with conventional plumbing.
Operating at 3,600 RPM (revolutions per minute) for rapid elimination of heavy-duty waste, the Sanibest Pro is designed for homes, as well as public restrooms in offices, schools, factories, restaurants, and any other situation where flushing sanitary items might be a concern. It pumps effluent higher and farther than other systems: up to 25 feet vertically when it is installed below the sewer line; or nearly 150 feet horizontally to the sewer stack. The stainless-steel grinder blade rotates against a stationary, perforated base plate, so that waste is quickly and easily dispersed through the base plate’s holes before being pumped into the 3/4-inch discharge line.
Using the two-inch inlets on either side of the unit, the Sanibest Pro can discharge waste water not only from a toilet, but also from two other fixtures, such as a sink, a bathtub, a shower or even a clothes washer (but always indirectly through a laundry tub). An integral check valve on the 3/4-inch discharge pipe conveniently rotates 360-degrees without any special tools to accommodate different installations. The top of the Sanibest Pro also features a service panel, allowing for easy access without removing current plumbing connections or disconnecting the entire unit from a toilet.

The new C-634RB1 heavy duty commercial hydrant round box is the answer to long and arduous hydrant box installations. This product was designed to simplify the process for plumbers, while maintaining the durability and finish of a traditional PRIER hydrant box.“A plumbers’ time is valuable, and they have always praised how easy it is to install our C-634 commercial hydrant since it only requires a single hole. We’ve taken that logic one step further so that the entire box can be mounted or enclosed in one hole through the wall, cutting out some extra time and effort of a square box installation,” said PRIER R&D Manager Scott Brady.
While round hydrant boxes aren’t a new concept, including threaded bosses on the backside of the box is.
