Greenway Solutions is proud to introduce a new green, organic, heat transfer fluid called Hydromx. Hydromx energy saving solution reduces energy cost up to 35% on your bills. Nano-particles within Hydromx increase thermal conductivity within the fluid thus out performing water and glycol used in all closed-loop heating and cooling systems. Yes Hydromx replaces Glycol. Hydromx offers the same freeze protection and corrosion inhibitors as glycol without the 15%-20% energy penalty. GWS has a money back guarantee of a at least 20% energy savings for Hydromx. Hydromx also doesn’t expand when frozen, so you will never have to worry about bursting pipes or cracked pumps. I am reaching out manufacturer reps to discuss Hydromx, we offer a 10% commission. We have many real life test results on Hydromx which have shown a reduction on energy cost (oil, gas, electric..etc) between 30%-35% this winter and because of Hydromx’s superior heat transfer performance the owners will have a return on investment within 1 full year of heating or 2 heating seasons (based on 4000 HDD). Attached is product information regarding Hydromx. Within the past year Hydromx has been stocked in plumbing and HVAC supply houses from New York to Alaska. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a meeting to see a demonstration of Hydromx as well as receive literature please call me anytime.

In its simplest form, the concept of stormwater management is to provide a means of flow reduction and treatment prior to discharge from a developed site. Retention of peak flows under extreme rainfall conditions is imperative in maintaining and/or improving our surface water quality. Highland Tank Stormwater Detention Tanks (SDT) play a critical role in many stormwater management plans.

In some instances, stormwater requires vigorous onsite storage to avoid hydraulic overload of the sewer infrastructure. The intent is to reduce flooding and/or the potential for overflow at the wastewater treatment plant.

Protected steel tanks provide the proper stormwater storage to meet the treatment volume objective as well as providing additional capacity for channel and/or flood protection requirements. Once the treatment objective is met the water can be control pumped to the treatment plant under normal operating conditions.

Highland Tank SDT are constructed of carbon steel with choices of tough high-solids epoxies, polyurethane and other linings or external coatings. These ‘tight’ tanks are available for aboveground and underground installation based on your needs. Contact your local Highland Tank representative to discuss which coatings best suit your project. Custom sizes and options are available including stainless steel fabrication. Highland Tank designs and manufactures SDTs to relevant AWWA, NFPA, UL or API Standards. A variety of manways and nozzle connections are available including flanged, threaded and Victaulic. Our team of professionals will work closely with you to build a SDT to meet your specific needs.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) WaterSense program recently announced the release of its Draft WaterSense Professional Certification Program Labeling System and three draft revised specifications for professional certification programs. The draft system consolidates a set of requirements that complement and streamline each WaterSense program specification and provides a more sustainable framework for long-term program growth.

Due to delays associated with the recent Federal government shutdown, EPA is rescheduling the webinar, which provides a public forum for the WaterSense team to discuss the draft materials and answer stakeholders’ questions. EPA will now host the webinar on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Eastern. Please register for the webinar by clicking here.

EPA encourages WaterSense partners and other stakeholders to provide written comments on the draft labeling system and draft revised specifications by Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Comments can be submitted to watersense-programs@erg.com, and detailed instructions on how to submit comments are available on the WaterSense website.

Please contact the WaterSense Helpline at 866-WTR-SENS (987-7367) or watersense@epa.gov with any questions.
